新年の初詣は、一直線の行程ではない。待つこと、くぐること、見上げること、そして振り返ること——その反復が一つのリズムをつくる。電車とホームは都市の日常を神域の入口へ運び、朱の幟は風の中で祈りを繰り返す。灯籠と奉納名は夜を静かな秩序として照らし出す。本シリーズは住吉の正月を手がかりに、賑わいの盛景ではなく、儀式と日常のあいだに生まれる小さな間（ま）を記録する。光と影にそっと留められたその瞬間こそ、新年が到来する場所である。
New Year’s pilgrimage is not a straight line, but a rhythm woven from waiting, passing through, looking up, and looking back. Trams and platforms carry the ordinary city to the threshold of the sacred; crimson banners repeat wishes in the wind, while lanterns and offered names turn night into a quiet order.
